"...double matte prints, 4x6..."
I'm originally from the laid-back, surf-infused haven of the North Shore of O'ahu, "sup bruh" is practically my mantra. Beach days, shave ice, and the sound of waves crashing are just some of my childhood memories. I grew up in Kahuku, and it’s the most Northern point on the Island. I spent my childhood outdoors until the sun went down and I always had a cheap camera in my hand.
What started out with 35mm disposable cameras to my first photography class with a real 35mm camera has led me here, exactly where I want to be. When I was a little girl photography was my visual diary and I took pictures of things that made me happy and looked interesting, sometimes I took pictures of things that made me sad, and of course snapped away pictures of my family and friends. I remember the anticipation of what it felt like dropping off my cameras and rolls of film and selecting, double matte prints, 4x6…I always ordered double prints just in case I wanted to send copies to my family on the mainland or give them to my friends. Photography is such a cool way to memorialize moments, feelings, and faces and smiles and occasional tears of the people you love.
My approach to photography is laid back and I document real-life moments and emotions in a more creative style, don't worry I'll guide you the whole way. If you prefer an in home session for the more documentary relaxed style, let's do it! Maybe you want the more adventurous vibe and prefer an outdoor location. It's up to you.

Now, that we peeled back a few layers, there's more to the story. Take a peek from behind my lens as you dive in...
How long will it take to get my photos?
It really depends on the type of project and what was agreed upon in the contract. Every client and and project is different and it can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, however I will always provide some sneak peek shots within 1-2 business days.
How many photos will I get?
This all depends on the type of photoshoot and the package you select. I don't cap on photos but I only select the best to be edited and delivered. Sessions can range from one hour to eight, for example if I am on traveling expedition capturing your family reunion in the mountains the number of photos versus an hour shoot would be quite different.
Do you require a deposit?
In order to confirm your booking, I require a $250 non-refundable creative booking retainer. Once the retainer has been collected I remove the date and time you have selected as an option for another client. The retainer is applied to your session unless you fail to show up at the time you booked my services.
What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time I accept all major credit cards, Zelle, Venmo, and Cash App. Payment plans are available but you will need to accept cycled automated payment processing.
I've worked for several Medical Examiner offices across the country and my last stop in my Forensic Photographer journey was working for the DOJ as a Latent Fingerprint Photographer.
I am lowkey obsessed with it, I know...how cliche. Solve a mystery though, uncover the details consider it my guilty pleasure.
Hawaiian kine fried rice is a little bit chewy with bits of crunchy rice. The secret is 'oyster sauce' and Aloha Shoyu.

The familiar surroundings of your home create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, allowing your family members to be themselves and display genuine emotions. This authenticity shines through in the photographs, creating a powerful emotional connection and preserving memories that truly reflect your everyday life.
In-home photography sessions and family films are amazing ways to capture the most authentic and meaningful moments in a family's life. Each family's home is a reflection of their unique tastes, hobbies, and lifestyle, making these sessions more personalized and give a whole new meaning to visual storytelling. Family films are perfect if you're looking to document a season in your life in a meaningful and genuine way.
I meticulously go through every photograph from our session. Once I've narrowed down the selection I will go through your entire gallery one last time before I start to enhance each one. During our session, my goal is to capture the exact moment in the frame, this reduces how much of the photograph needs to be edited. Fine tuning by adding warmth, reducing shadows, decreasing contrast and highlights, and just a little bit of grain...I love the whole process.
